Before Your Spray Tan
A little preparation goes a long way!
Exfoliate: Shower and gently exfoliate your skin before your appointment, focusing on dry areas like elbows, knees, and ankles.
Shave or Wax: Complete any shaving or waxing at least 2 hours before your session.
Keep Skin Clean: Arrive free of makeup, deodorant, perfume, oils, and lotions.
Remove Jewellery: Take off jewellery before your session to avoid uneven application.
Dress Comfortably: Bring loose, dark clothing and sandals to wear afterward.
After Your Spray Tan
Let your glow develop!
Wait Before Showering: Allow approximately 6–8 hours before your first shower, unless your technician recommends otherwise.
Stay Dry: Avoid sweating, swimming, exercising, or applying lotions while your tan develops.
First Rinse: Don't worry if you see colour washing away! This is usually the temporary bronzer, not your developed tan. Don’t scrub!
Avoid Tight Clothing: Loose-fitting outfits help prevent rubbing and uneven colour.
Wash Hands: Our hands are the driest part of our body. To avoid patching, do a light wash of hands when you get home.
Make Your Tan Last Longer
Keep your glow looking fresh!
Moisturize Daily: Apply a gentle, water-based moisturizer after your first shower to keep skin hydrated.
Be Gentle: Avoid harsh scrubs, exfoliating products, and rough washcloths.
Limit Chlorine: Frequent swimming and hot tubs can cause your tan to fade faster.
Try a Tan Extender: A gradual tanning moisturizer can help maintain and refresh your colour.

Most spray tans last approximately 5–7 days, depending on your skin, preparation, and aftercare.
Is spray tanning UV-free?
Yes! Spray tanning uses DHA, an ingredient that temporarily darkens the outermost layer of your skin without UV exposure.
Will my spray tan protect me from the sun?
No. Spray tans do not provide sun protection, so always wear sunscreen when outdoors.
